TD Bank’s Essay Contest continues in 2012

(Central Islip, N.Y., Aug. 6, 2012) – Hey Ducks fans, are you ready to be the coolest kid in school? You will be if you win the “Take a Duck to Class” essay contest, presented by TD Bank. If you write a winning essay, QuackerJack and a member of your 2012 First Half Liberty Division champion Long Island Ducks will come visit your school for an unforgettable day of learning and fun.

To enter the contest, just stop by your local TD Bank to pick up an entry form. Then, write in 250 words or less “Why My Community is Important to Me” and return your essay to the Ducks. Four lucky winners will have a Ducks player and QuackerJack visit them at their school for an hour and receive a Visa Gift Card, courtesy of TD Bank. What will you do in that hour? That’s up to the winners! Head outside for a game of wiffleball or have a player read from your favorite book. The decision is yours!
