(Melville, N.Y., Nov. 25, 2024) – Long Island Ducks Ticket Sales Manager Justice Lallier took part in the Long Island Fight for Charity on Monday evening.
Lallier, a.k.a. “Prevails”, stepped into the ring for a charity boxing match to support the Long Island Community Chest. All money he raised will be donated back to this incredible organization, which plays a vital role in supporting local families in need. With his background as a member of the Ducks front office as well as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator at Framerica, he understands the power of community engagement and is eager to channel that energy into this event.
Members of the Ducks front office staff attended the event, held at the Hilton Long Island/Huntington, in support of Justice. The South Setauket native and alumnus of Eastern Connecticut State University has been boxing since April of 2023. The QuackerJack Foundation, the charitable arm of the Ducks, supported Justice in his bout.
The event is the nation’s only all-volunteer charity boxing event. It is one of the most anticipated events in the region, attracting over 1,200 fans and supporters. This 501(c)3 nonprofit organization was co-founded in 2002, initially as a fundraising effort to seed the Long Island Community Chest, a charity with a mission to help individuals and families in need. This effort evolved into the founding of the Long Island Volunteer Boxers train for months and face each other in the ring at the Fight for Charity Main Event.
The Long Island Ducks are entering their 25th Anniversary season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and play their home games at Fairfield Properties Ballpark in Central Islip, N.Y. They are the all-time leader in wins and attendance in Atlantic League history, have led all MLB Partner Leagues in total attendance for four consecutive seasons, and have sold out a record 713 games all-time.
