Opportunity for fans to exchange tickets from missed games

The three-time Atlantic League champion Long Island Ducks have announced that June 29 and 30 will all be “Unused Ticket Days” at Bethpage Ballpark. If you could not make it out to a ballgame thus far during the 2016 season and are still in possession of your unused tickets, the team is offering the chance to exchange those tickets for ones of equal or lesser value at the Bethpage Ballpark box office, subject to availability.

“We understand that the weather hasn’t been the most cooperative during the first few weeks of the season,” says Ducks President/GM Michael Pfaff. “No Ducks ticket should go unused this year, so be sure to exchange any tickets you haven’t used yet for one of these three great games.”

Ticket holders interested in trading in their unused tickets can do so by visiting the Bethpage Ballpark box office. Tickets can be exchanged for games on June 29 or 30 against the York Revolution. First pitch for each of the games is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. A one dollar fee per ticket will be applied to account for the Suffolk County surcharge on all tickets printed.

Highlights for the unused ticket day games include:

June 29 – The first 1,500 fans through the gates on June 29 will receive special Ducks T-Shirts, courtesy of Capital One. It’s also another Winning Inning Wednesday, so be sure to sign up before first pitch at the Ticket Kiosk for your chance to win $10,000!

June 30
– Arrive at the ballpark early, because the first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive Dr. QuackerJack T-Shirts, courtesy of Peconic Bay Medical Center. You’ll also be able to visit the Duck Club restaurant/bar throughout the game and enjoy food and drink specials as part of Thirsty Thursday!

The exchanging of tickets must be done at the Bethpage Ballpark box office, and cannot be done over the phone or via the Internet. For more information, please contact the ticket office at (631) 940-TIXX.
