Craver race comes to Bethpage Ballpark

(Central Islip, N.Y., July 13, 2012) – With the second half beginning today, the Long Island Ducks will be moving their famous hot dogs to the back of their summer barbecue. Now, the brand new White Castle Craver Race will be entertaining fans during every Ducks home game!

“This new and exciting on-field promotion will be the premier mascot race in all of baseball,” says Ducks Promotions Coordinator Jordan Schiff. “The White Castle Craver Race is sure to bring fans out of their seat to cheer on their favorites!”

Throughout the rest of the 2012 season, the Original Slider will battle against the Chicken Slider and the French Toast Stick for racing glory at the Duck Pond. At the end of the fourth inning, be sure to keep your eyes on the field as these three fierce competitors sprint down the left field line towards home plate. Whoever crosses the finish line first will win their assigned section coupons for discounts at select White Castle locations in Commack and Lynbrook.

The White Castle race will help create awareness for the brand’s wide variety of menu options. Whether enjoying their Original Sliders, Chicken Sliders or their many Breakfast Cravings, White Castle has continued to be a family-run favorite for over 90 years.
