“2014 will surely be a historic season for the Ducks organization,” says Ducks president and general manager Michael Pfaff. “Fans will be treated to a wide assortment of special nights and giveaways, recognize two incredible achievements and continue to enjoy the most affordable, family-friendly entertainment on Long Island.”

All the fun begins on Opening Night, Friday, May 2, when Long Island (and America’s) #1 family-owned and operated appliance and electronics company, P.C. Richard & Son, will present “Replica Championship Ring Night.” The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive ceramic molds of the team’s 2013 Atlantic League championship ring, courtesy of the electronics & appliance giant and long-time Ducks sponsor. Gates will open at 6:05 p.m. prior to that night’s game against the York Revolution, and fans will want to be in their seats early for a special Championship Ring and Banner Raising Ceremony to honor the 2013 Atlantic League champion Ducks.

The promotional schedule also features a variety of other back-to-back championship-themed giveaway items, including commemorative autograph books, logo patches, bobbleheads and logo caps. In addition, the schedule is also highlighted by several giveaways and theme nights celebrating Long Island’s 15th Anniversary Season. Among the giveaways will be magnet schedules, logo patches, team card sets and commemorative posters. In addition, Sunday, August 17 will be Legends Day at the ballpark, complete with special guests and pre-game festivities.

Ducks fans will be dazzled in 2014 by a record-tying 15 Fireworks Extravaganzas sprinkled throughout the season. Bethpage Ballpark will be the place to be on these special nights, as the Ducks light the sky with the best fireworks show in baseball. Fans will be treated to a variety of other giveaway items during the year such as t-shirts, bobbleheads, reusable shopping bags, baseballs, foam fingers and more along with a variety of theme nights throughout the season. Some special dates already scheduled include the Ninth Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night, the first-ever Volunteer Firefighter and EMS Night, Military Appreciation Night, YMCA Night, Movie Night, Mascot Day and TWO Camp Days with special 11:05 a.m. start times.
