Contestants chosen to sing National Anthem during 20th Anniversary Season

(Central Islip, N.Y., April 18, 2019) – The Long Island Ducks, in conjunction with 106.1-FM WBLI, have announced the winners of this year’s Anthem Idol competition.

This year’s contest took place on Saturday, April 6, at Bethpage Ballpark. Contestants vied for six openings to perform the National Anthem before a Ducks game during the 20th Anniversary Season, presented by Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. “I want to thank everybody who came out to audition during this year’s Anthem Idol competition,” said Ducks Director of Promotions and Marketing Jordan Schiff. “Our judges were impressed with everyone that stepped in front of the microphone. Congratulations to all who were selected to sing at a Ducks game this season!”
