The Long Island Ducks are in the thick of a tight race for a spot in the Atlantic League playoffs during the final week of the 2024 regular season.
As of Wednesday night, the Ducks sit in second place in the second half North Division standings, four games behind the Lancaster Stormers. The winner of the second half will earn a spot in the Atlantic League playoffs. Long Island also holds the tiebreaker with the Stormers by virtue of holding a 10-9 edge in the second half head-to-head series between the teams.
Should the Ducks win the second half, they would face the first half champion York Revolution in the best-of-five North Division Championship Series. The following schedule would apply for the first round of the postseason:

Game Two: Wednesday, September 18 – 6:35 p.m. at Fairfield Properties Ballpark

Game Five: Sunday, September 22 – 2:00 p.m. at WellSpan Park (if necessary)
Game One: Tuesday, September 24 – TBD at South Division champion
Game Two: Wednesday, September 25 – TBD at South Division champion
Game Three: Friday, September 27 – 6:35 p.m. at Fairfield Properties Ballpark
