The Long Island Ducks annual Patriotic Jersey Auction took place this week, as the Ducks faced the Charleston Dirty Birds at Fairfield Properties Ballpark. Fans were able to bid on special red, white and blue jerseys that were worn by Ducks players and coaches for the July 2-4 series victory.

Fans were able to place their bids from 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, through 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 4. Bids started at $75 and were increased in minimum $10 increments. Those wishing to place their bids could do so via the LiveSource mobile app. Winners will be contacted by the Ducks organization in the days following the auction.

Net proceeds from the auction will benefit the QuackerJack Foundation, the charitable arm of the Ducks. All donations are tax deductible. The QuackerJack Foundation has contributed to thousands of non-profit and like organizations each year while bringing awareness to worthy programs and causes in need of assistance on Long Island.

The Ducks are in their 24th season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and play their home games at Fairfield Properties Ballpark in Central Islip, N.Y. They are the all-time leader in wins and attendance in Atlantic League history, led all MLB Partner Leagues in attendance in 2023, and have sold out a record 710 games all-time.
