Easter egg hunt moved to Sunday, April 1

(Central Islip, N.Y., Mar. 29, 2012) –
The Long Island Ducks and 94X today announced that due to the forecast of inclement weather on Saturday, March 31, Eggs-A-Palooza 2012 will now take place on Sunday, April 1 at Bethpage Ballpark. Registration will now begin at 11:30 a.m. on April 1, and the event is FREE to everyone. Kids will be able to participate in a traditional Easter egg hunt, with three different age groups taking part (four and under, five to eight, and nine and older, in that order). The first group’s egg hunt will now begin at 2:00 p.m., with the second group following at 2:15 and the final group starting at 2:30 p.m.

In addition to the egg hunt, there will be bounce rides from George’s Inflatables, arts and crafts activities, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, food and beverages, and many other activities. Ducks’ mascot, QuackerJack, will also be at the ballpark to take pictures and sign autographs. Fans can pre-register for the event now free of charge by CLICKING HERE.
