Ducks announce second “Bark in the Park” for 2017 season

Due to the overwhelming success and fan reaction from “Bark in the Park” Night at Bethpage Ballpark on May 16, the Long Island Ducks have announced a second “Bark in the Park”, to be held on Monday, September 4. Special “Pooch Passes” are now available for purchase to the Labor Day matinee against the New Britain Bees, with first pitch slated for 1:35 p.m.

All fans wishing to bring their dog to the ballpark on September 4 must purchase a Pooch Pass in advance. Each pass includes a game ticket in designated box seating sections as well as admission for one dog. Passes are just $13 each and can be obtained by visiting the Bethpage Ballpark box office or going online to www.liducksgroups.com and typing in the password “pooch” when prompted. Fans can also call the Ducks group sales department at (631) 940-3825 to order.

Only those holding Pooch Passes will be allowed to bring their dog into the ballpark on September 4, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis with limited availability. Season ticket and 10-game mini plan holders who wish to bring their dogs to “Bark in the Park” Night must exchange their tickets at the box office. Fans holding Pooch Passes will be allowed to enter the ballpark ONLY through the Picnic Area entrance, located down the left field line, on September 4.
