Ducks in the Community

(West Babylon, N.Y., March 18, 2015) – On Wednesday, Long Island Ducks mascot, QuackerJack, surprised members of Daisy Girl Scout Troop 2249 during one of their meetings at Tooker Avenue Elementary School.

The troop was learning about the importance of exercise, and Long Island’s favorite mascot joined in on the fun. Some of the activities included doing pushups, jumping jacks and dancing the “Cha Cha Slide.” After exercising, QuackerJack took pictures and signed autographs for the entire troop.

QJ and the Long Island Ducks Street Team will be at the following events during the month of March. If you’re there, be sure to stop by and say hello to Long Island’s favorite mascot!

March 26: Big Al's Family Fitness Easter Egg Hunt in Amityville, N.Y. (6:45-7:45 p.m.)

March 28: Big Al's Family Fitness Easter Egg Hunt in Westbury, N.Y. (10:30-11:30 a.m.)

If you’re looking to have QuackerJack appear at your next event, fill out a THIS form and mail it back to 3 Court House Drive, Central Islip, NY 11722 Attn: Mascot Appearance.
