Camden took a 1-0 lead in the third on a RBI infield single from Paddy Matera off Ducks starter Bill Murphy. Bryant Nelson tied the game in the bottom of the fourth with a solo home run to right off Riversharks starter Brian Bass.

Both sides exchanged zeroes until the bottom of the 10th inning when the Ducks broke through. P.J. Phillips singled, went to second on a sacrifice bunt and scored on a RBI single by Danny Perales.

Neither starter factored into the decision. Murphy lasted three innings, allowing one run on four hits with one strikeout while Bass tossed seven innings, yielding one run on six hits while striking out six. Eric Niesen (2-0) got the win after tossing a scoreless inning of relief while Adrian Martin (1-2) took the loss, surrendering a run on three hits in one and one-third innings.

Joash Brodin and Ramon Castro each had two hits to lead the Flock.
