(Central Islip, N.Y., April 24, 2015) – The three-time Atlantic League champion Long Island Ducks kick off the 2015 season on Friday night when they visit the York Revolution in Pennsylvania.

Game time is slated for 6:30 p.m. from Santander Stadium. Right-hander John Brownell gets the start for the Ducks against Revolution righty Shawn Hill. Prior to the game, both teams will be introduced on the field in York.

Fans can follow all of the action live on the Ducks’ flagship radio station and Long Island’s home for news, traffic and weather, 103.9-FM LI News Radio. The game can be heard online by CLICKING HERE. The North Shore LIJ/Southside Hospital pre-game show will begin at approximately 6:15. Michael Polak will call the play-by-play.

In addition, a pitch-by-pitch account of the game will be available via Pointstreak’s GameLive application. The Ducks will return home for the 2015 Home Opener on Friday, May 1 when they face the Sugar Land Skeeters. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m., with the Bethpage Ballpark gates opening at 5:35. The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a Lew Ford Bronze Figurine, courtesy of P.C. Richard & Son.
