Long Island Ducks announce 2017 broadcast schedule
 

(Central Islip, N.Y., April 19, 2017) – The three-time Atlantic League champion Long Island Ducks today announced their 2017 game broadcast schedule. All 140 regular season games will air live on the team’s official Facebook page and YouTube channel, as well as the team’s official website, LIDucks.com.

“Social media has become a primary avenue for fans to remain up-to-date on their favorite teams,” says Ducks President/GM Michael Pfaff. “We remain committed to providing our fans with easy access to follow the team, both at home or on the go.”

Fans will be able to follow all of the action live, with high definition video and audio available for every home and road game this season. Live feeds will be available for each game at Facebook.com/LIDucks as well as YouTube.com/DucksBaseball. In addition, games will be broadcast live on www.liducks.com via BoxCast’s live streaming service. All game broadcasts will be free of charge and include a graphic featuring the game’s score, inning, ball/strike count and number of outs. Each game will be preceded by the Long Island Ducks pre-game show, beginning 15 minutes prior to first pitch.

WRHU 88.7-FM will offer live broadcasts of Ducks home games on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the course of the season. Those wishing to listen to the action on Radio Hofstra University can tune in online at www.wrhu.org.

The Ducks broadcast team features team Director of Media Relations and Broadcasting Michael Polak, who begins his eighth season behind the mic with the Flock. Popular Long Island radio personalities Chris King and David Weiss, who have been involved with the team since the inaugural 2000 season, will also be on air throughout the season. Joe Vasile, who enters his first season as the team’s Media Relations and Broadcasting Assistant, will broadcast games as well.
