Unique Opportunity to learn and play with the Long Island Ducks
(Central Islip, N.Y., July 19, 2012) – The first of two Ducks baseball camps during the 2012 season, which begins on Friday, July 20, is on as scheduled as a rain or shine event. With the next kids clinics over a month away, don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of this exciting experience. Players between the ages of seven and 14 of all abilities are welcome. Interested parties can sign up by arriving at Bethpage Ballpark on Friday morning no later than 9:00 a.m.
“Ducks baseball clinics are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” says president/general manager Michael Pfaff. “To learn from Ducks players and coaches on the field at Bethpage Ballpark is an invaluable experience for any aspiring ballplayer.”
The first clinic session will take place on Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21, with each camp day running from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Campers should arrive no later than 8:45 a.m. each day. For just $195, campers get two days of instruction from Ducks players and coaches, lunch each day of the camp, an equipment bag and a Ducks Kids Clinic jersey. Just bring your glove and a bat and be ready to play, rain or shine!
