Six “Unused Ticket Days” announced

(Central Islip, N.Y., Aug. 7, 2017) – The Long Island Ducks have announced that August 29, 30 and 31, along with September 1, 3 and 8, will all be “Unused Ticket Days” at Bethpage Ballpark. If you could not make it out to a ballgame during the 2017 season and are still in possession of your unused tickets, the team is offering the chance to exchange them for tickets of equal or lesser value at the Bethpage Ballpark box office, subject to availability.

Ticket holders interested in trading in their unused tickets can do so by visiting the Bethpage Ballpark box office. Tickets can be exchanged for games on August 29, 30 and 31 against the York Revolution, September 1 and 3 against the New Britain Bees or September 8 against the Bridgeport Bluefish. First pitch for each of the games is scheduled for 6:35 p.m., with the exception of the game on September 3, which will be a 1:35 start. A one dollar fee per ticket will be applied to account for the Suffolk County surcharge on all tickets printed.

Highlights for the unused ticket day games include:

August 29 – The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive Good Times, Every Time Notebooks, courtesy of People’s Alliance Federal Credit Union. It’s also a Two-Fer Tuesday! Fans purchasing tickets to the game online at LIDucks.com or via the Ducks mobile app can receive a special buy one, get one free offer by entering the promo code “BOGO” at checkout (max four total tickets per transaction).

August 30 – The amazing Spider-Man will be making a special appearance at the ballpark, courtesy of Geico. Fans will be able to meet the legendary superhero and get pictures with him during the course of the game. It’s also a Waddle In Wednesday at the Duck Pond! August 31 – The first 1,500 kids 12 and under through the gates will take home Back to School Lunch Boxes, courtesy of SCOPE Education Services. It’s also a Thirsty Thursday! The Duck Club Restaurant/Bar will be open for all fans to enjoy. The bar will feature drink specials, including half price domestics, while the restaurant will offer special menu selections.

September 1 – The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive Ducks Thundersticks, courtesy of Newsday. It’s also a Fowl Pole Friday! If a select Ducks player hits a home run off of one of the foul poles during the game, one lucky fan will win $50,000! In addition, a Bees player will be selected as the Pizza Hut K-Man of the game. If that player strikes out, fans can redeem their game ticket for a FREE one-topping personal pizza at a participating Pizza Hut location.

September 3 – Celebrate Veterans Appreciation Day at the ballpark with the Flock! The first 1,500 fans through the gates will take home 2017 Ducks Team Photos, courtesy of the Suffolk County Corrections Officers Association. It’s also a Sunday Family Funday! Prior to the game, fans will be invited onto the field for an autograph session with the Ducks from 12:50 to 1:05. After the game, kids and kids at heart can take part in Kids Run the Bases, presented by Bethpage Federal Credit Union.

September 8 – It’s Back to School Night at the Duck Pond, presented by Long Island Teachers. The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive Ducks Notebooks. Fowl Pole Friday and the Pizza Hut K-Man will also be taking place during the game, so be sure to get your tickets for the chance to win both $50,000 and a free one-topping personal pizza!
