(Central Islip, N.Y., March 14, 2022) – The Long Island Ducks today announced the team’s popular Fan Fest will return to Fairfield Properties Ballpark on Saturday, April 16, at 10:30 a.m. Admission will be free of charge for all fans.
Fan Fest is the first opportunity for Ducks fans to see their team in advance of the 2022 season, presented by Catholic Health. The Ducks will be playing a spring training game beginning at 1:00 p.m. The game will be preceded by batting practice, which will also be open for fans to enjoy, and Ducks team introductions along the first base line.
Those attending Fan Fest will be able to enjoy many fun activities along the main concourse. The Ducks Kids Zone, featuring the Bounce House, DuckTail Slide and Obstacle Course, will all be open for children to enjoy (weather permitting). Dina’s Dynamics Face Painting will be on hand and offering free face painting for kids. The Waddle In Shop will be open for fans to stock up on new gear for the 2022 season, including some brand new apparel. Additionally, select concession stands will be open during Fan Fest for fans to enjoy various ballpark fare.
Two exclusive events will also be going on for select Ducks fans. Season ticket holders will be treated to a VIP meet-and-greet with Wally Backman. While meeting the manager of the Ducks, season ticket holders can also pick up their VIP gift and season ticket holder ID cards for the season. Fans interested in becoming a VIP season ticket holder and gaining access to this exclusive event should contact the Ducks ticket office at (631) 940-3825, ext. 115.
Members of the Ducks Kids Club, presented by Bethpage Federal Credit Union, are also invited to pick up items included in their membership at Fan Fest. Annual Kids Club member gifts and ID cards can be picked up by visiting the Ticket Kiosk, located on the main concourse behind home plate.
