Ducks, Island Harvest Food Bank team up for “Drive to the Title”
Individual game tickets to see the Long Island Ducks in the 2015 Atlantic League Playoffs are on sale now. The Ducks have clinched their 10th postseason berth in the past 12 seasons. To coincide with playoff tickets going on sale to the general public, the Ducks also unveiled that they are teaming up with Island Harvest Food Bank to help raise money and obtain food donations in support of the organization’s fight to end hunger and reduce food waste on Long Island.
Fans can CLICK HERE to secure their seats, and by typing in the promo code “drive” at checkout, $1 of each playoff ticket purchased will benefit Island Harvest. Ticket prices for the Atlantic League Playoffs will remain the same as during the regular season. Box seats (200 level) are available for just $12.00 while field box seats (100 level) are $13.00 and club level seats (400 level) are $15.00. Anyone purchasing tickets online will be automatically refunded should any postseason games not be played.
In addition, the Ducks will be hosting a food drive prior to every one of their home playoff games this year. All fans that donate four cans of non-perishable food items will receive a free ticket to a Ducks postseason game (limit four tickets per customer). Those wishing to donate can do so by visiting the food drive tables located on the plaza outside of Bethpage Ballpark near the West Gate.
With a playoff berth secured, the Ducks will host Games One and Two of the best-of-five Liberty Division Championship Series against the Somerset Patriots on Wednesday, September 23 and Thursday, September 24. Should they advance, the Ducks would host Games One and Two of the best-of-five Atlantic League Championship Series on Wednesday, September 30 and Thursday, October 1. All four games are slated to begin at 6:35 p.m. Prior to each game, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive “Drive to the Title” Rally Towels, courtesy of News 12.
Season ticket and luxury suite holders already have their playoff tickets included as part of their ticket package. 10-game mini plan holders should have already received an order form in the mail with an option to purchase all four potential playoff games at the $9 discounted rate (25{d49c2f696c30b380fd9be95111ca06c2fbe3c781de671db859b96da639cc8951} off the box office price). Group ticket pricing for the playoffs will remain the same as during the regular season. Birthday party packages, luxury suites, pre-game and in-game picnics, Smokin’ Al’s Party Deck and Trout Town Fan Can outings are all available for postseason games. Group on-field activities such as the National Anthem, Ridgewood Savings Bank Color Guard, Nicolock Dream Team, pre-game performance and artwork display are also available.
