Ducks helping to raise awareness about food allergies
The Long Island Ducks battle the Somerset Patriots in the day game of a day/night doubleheader and middle game of a three-game series on Saturday, May 11 at 1:05 p.m. CLICK HERE to secure your seats.
The Bethpage Ballpark gates will open at 12:05 for Saturday afternoon’s contest. The day game will also be Peanut-Free/Food Allergy Awareness Day at the Duck Pond. There will be no sale of peanuts at the ballpark during the game, giving fans who struggle with peanut allergies the opportunity to attend a baseball game worry-free. Families dealing with this issue and interested in purchasing tickets for the May 11th peanut-free game can do so by visiting www.liducksgroups.com, and typing the password “Peanut”. In addition, Ducks staff members will be handing out coupons for $10 off a purchase of $50 or more at Dick’s Sporting Goods to fans as they exit the ballpark.
