McGarry begins his first season with the Ducks and fourth in professional baseball. The outfielder began the 2024 campaign with Louisville (AAA, Reds), and Chattanooga (AA, Reds), tallying nine hits, two doubles, four RBIs, six runs, seven walks and three stolen bases in 19 games.

In his four seasons in the Cincinnati Reds organization, the 26-year-old native of Vancouver, Washington had 49 home runs, 184 RBIs, 156 runs, 302 hits, 64 doubles, 12 triples, 98 walks, 38 stolen bases and a .770 OPS in 328 games played. McGarry was signed by the Cincinnati Reds as a free agent in 2020.
