Bio

Johnson begins his first season with the Ducks and third in professional baseball. The infielder spent the past two seasons with the Florence Y’Alls in the Frontier League, hitting .319 with an .821 OPS along with four home runs, 58 RBIs, 77 runs, 145 hits, 30 doubles, four triples and 40 stolen bases over 122 games. 

The 25-year-old Alabama native was a 2024 Frontier League All-Star and has the second-highest career batting average in Frontier League history at .319 (minimum 500 plate appearances).  Johnson played one season collegiately at Auburn University (2019), two seasons at Tennessee Tech University (2021-22) and the University of Alabama (2023), hitting a combined .340 with 25 home runs and 125 RBIs over the course of 166 games played.
