Bio

Caudelle begins his second season with the Ducks and second in professional baseball. The right-hander joined the Flock in July of 2021 after pitching with the Williamsport Crosscutters of the MLB Draft League. He made eight appearances (three starts) with Long Island, posting a 1-0 record with a 2.55 ERA and 20 strikeouts over 17.2 innings pitched. The Georgia native began his professional career by making four scoreless relief appearances, spanning five innings, before moving into the starting rotation. Caudelle allowed just four earned runs in three starts before his season was cut short due to injury.

The 25-year-old made nine relief appearances without yielding an earned run with Williamsport. He conceded just three unearned runs over 13.2 innings, walking nine while striking out 21. The 6-foot-7 righty played his collegiate baseball at Georgia Gwinnett College, going 10-1 with a 2.63 ERA, seven saves and 96 strikeouts over 39 games (10 starts). His team won the Association of Independent Institutions title in 2019, and he was named to the A.I.I. All-Tournament team. In 2018, Caudelle earned Summer All-Star honors in the Florida State Collegiate League with the Leesburg Lightning.
