Robbins begins his first season with the Ducks and fourth in professional baseball. The pitcher began the season with Buffalo (AAA, Blue Jays) and Round Rock (AAA, Rangers) appearing in 11 games while striking out 13 in 12.2 innings. The southpaw spent four seasons with the Blue Jays and Rangers organizations, pitching in 64 games (38 starts) and striking out 226 batters over the course of 201.1 innings of work.

The 26-year-old Florida native was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 20th round of the 2019 amateur draft from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
