Pulsipher begins his first season with the Ducks and first in professional baseball. The left-hander pitched three seasons for the Queens College Knights of the East Coast Conference from 2021-2023, and helped lead the way to the Knights winning their first conference championship in 25 years back in 2023. During his career in Flushing, the East Moriches native made 34 appearance and 30 game starts, tallying 11 wins, three complete games, two shutouts, and two saves while striking out 154 batters across 167.1 innings pitched. Pulsipher was selected as a Second Team All-Conference member twice in his collegiate career in both the 2021 and 2023 campaigns.

Pulispher played three years of varsity baseball at Center Moriches High School, and was a key contributor in a pair of State Championships for the Red Devils. He is the son of fellow southpaw Bill Pulsipher, who pitched six seasons in Major League Baseball for the New York Mets (1995, 1998, 2000), Milwaukee Brewers (1998-99), Boston Red Sox (2001), Chicago White Sox (2001), and St. Louis Cardinals (2005), and was also a member of the Ducks from 2004-2007, helping lead the Flock to their first Atlantic League championship in franchise history in 2004.
