Bio

Solter begins his first season with the Ducks, second in the Atlantic League, and ninth in professional baseball. Along with the Ducks, the right-hander has also pitched in the Atlantic League with the Staten Island FerryHawks and Gastonia Honey Hunters in 2022 and the High Point Rockers in 2023. Solter made two game starts in the Mexican League in 2023 as a member of Piratas de Campeche, going 0-2 with a 4.50 ERA.

Solter signed with the San Francisco Giants out of Furman University (NCAA Division I) in Greenville, South Carolina in 2016 and pitched for the Single-A Augusta GreenJackets of the South Atlantic League during that campaign, and stayed in the Giants farm system in 2017 as a member of both Augusta and the and stayed in the Giants farm system in 2017 as a member of both Augusta and the Class-A advanced San Jose Giants of the California League. Signed a Minor League deal with the Cleveland Indians in February 2019 and pitched for the Class-A advanced Lynchburg Hillcats of the Carolina League and the Double-A Akron RubberDucks of the Eastern League, combining to go 5-1 with a 3.66 ERA in 13 game starts, walking 32 and striking out 62 across 66.1 innings pitched, while also tallying a WHIP of 1.37. Was the starting pitcher for the Honey Hunters in Game Four of the 2023 South Division Championship Series versus the High Point Rockers at Truist Point on September 24th.
