Bio

Goody is in his first season with the Ducks, first season in the Atlantic League and 11th in professional baseball. The right-hander spent six seasons in the Major Leagues, with the New York Yankees (2015-2016), Cleveland Indians (2017-2019), and Texas Rangers (2020). He combined to pitch in 158 games (one start), tallying four wins and a 4.19 ERA along with one save to go along with 184 strikeouts across 152.2 innings pitched.

 The Orlando, Florida native was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 22nd round of the 2011 MLB June Amateur Draft from state College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota and again by the New York Yankees in the sixth round of the 2012 MLB June Amateur Draft from Louisiana State University. He made his Major League debut on July 30, 2015 with the New York Yankees vs. the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington, striking out Robinson Chirinos swinging. His last game played in the big leagues was September 23, 2020 with the Texas Rangers vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field.
