Stock begins his first season with the Ducks and 12th in professional baseball. The five-year MLB veteran pitched for four teams in the Major Leagues, including two seasons with the San Diego Padres (2018-19), and one each with the Boston Red Sox (2020), Chicago Cubs (2021), and New York Mets (2021). He appeared in 55 games (3 Game Starts), tallying a record of 2-4 with a 4.71 ERA and 76 strikeouts to 40 walks over the course of 72.2 innings pitched. The 33-year old was also a member of the Doosan Bears in the KBO League in 2022, going 9-10 with a 3.60 ERA in 29 game starts, registering 138 strikeouts across 165 innings pitched.
Stock was originally selected by the San Diego Padres in the second round of the 2009 amateur draft out of the University of Southern California (Los Angeles, California). The 33-year old was also a member of the Doosan Bears in the KBO League in 2022. He pitched for the Israeli national baseball team in the 2023 World Baseball Classic and was a teammate of Ducks outfielder Alex Dickerson on that roster.
