(East Islip, N.Y., Oct. 21, 2023) – QuackerJack and the Long Island Ducks came out to Run 4 Beigel, a 5K run and walk, hosted by the Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund.

The event allowed families across the island to show their support for the family and friends of Scott J. Beigel in their fight against gun violence and those who have faced it. Scott was a geography teacher and cross-country coach at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, who tragically lost his life to gun violence. QuackerJack and the Ducks greatly appreciated the invite to such a special event.

QJ had the opportunity to cheer from the sidelines and watch the runners take off. His favorite part was being able to meet, greet and take photos with everyone as they crossed the finish line!
