Ducks mascot congratulates little leaguers on a great summer

(Bay Shore, N.Y., August 27, 2014) – On Wednesday, August 27, QuackerJack paid a visit to Cage 16 in Bay Shore for their annual Little League Trophy Ceremony.

After inclement weather postponed the ceremony for a couple of weeks, the children were very excited to receive their trophies and were happily surprised to see the lovable mascot handing them their awards. QJ was also eager present these young athletes with their trophies for all the hard work they put in over the summer.

After each athlete received their award, they all took photographs with QuackerJack before taking part in several fun activities. The boys and girls took to the field for a little dodge ball, enjoyed some Italian Ices and even played some Frisbee with the Ducks mascot. At the end of the day, all of the athletes got together for a group shot with QuackerJack, leaving lasting memories of a great summer at Cage 16.

The Long Island Ducks are members of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and play their home games at Bethpage Ballpark. For further information, call (631) 940-DUCK or visit www.liducks.com.
