QuackerJack attends yearly holiday celebration

(Flanders, N.Y., Dec. 3, 2014) – On Wednesday evening, Long Island Ducks mascot, QuackerJack, attended the 26th Annual Big Duck Lighting ceremony in Flanders.

QJ took pictures with families at the event, got to hang out with Santa Claus and took a tour of the new Long Island Duck Farming Exhibit. While there, he even met feathered friend, Roxy, with co-curator of the exhibit, Lisa Dabrowski.

Holiday songs were sung by the Riverhead Middle School Show Choir and Santa arrived to the Big Duck thanks to the Flanders Fire Department. The night was another festive celebration for everyone in attendance.

QuackerJack and the Long Island Ducks Street Team will be at the following events throughout the rest of 2014. If you’re there, be sure to stop by and say hello to Long Island’s favorite mascot!
