Mascot attends ceremony for West Islip ballplayers
(Melville, N.Y., Dec. 7, 2014) – On Sunday morning, Long Island Ducks mascot, QuackerJack, surprised players of the West Islip Little League at their end of season awards ceremony.
The event was held at the Huntington Hilton hotel in Melville. QJ met with all of the players as they received their trophies and honors. He posed for pictures with the teams and their families and signed autographs for everyone as well. Congratulations to all the little leaguers who received awards on Sunday for a job well done this season!
QuackerJack and the Long Island Ducks Street Team will be at the following events throughout the rest of 2014. If you’re there, be sure to stop by and say hello to Long Island’s favorite mascot!
