Ducks mascot attends new supermarket store opening

(Farmingdale, N.Y., April 28, 2021) – QuackerJack, the mascot of the Long Island Ducks, was in Farmingdale on Wednesday morning to attend the store grand opening for Lidl food market.

The new store, which is located at 501 Northwest Drive, will help better serve the local community. Music was provided by a local DJ, and QuackerJack even had his turn in the booth. Following a ribbon cutting ceremony, special prizes were handed out to customers. QJ had a blast getting to meet many of the store employees and those going shopping during his visit.
