Learn from the pros this summer

Time is winding down to sign up for the Long Island Ducks’ annual Kids Clinics, presented by Stop & Shop, which will take place this summer at Bethpage Ballpark. Children ages seven to 14 of all abilities are invited to register, and those interested are encouraged to sign up early due to limited availability. Sign up forms are available by CLICKING HERE or by calling (631) 940-3825 ext. 102.

“The keys to success in baseball are learning the proper way to play the game and practice,” said Ducks manager and former Major Leaguer Kevin Baez. “Our clinics allow young ballplayers to gain knowledge from those who have played at the highest levels and improve their skill set on a professional field.”

Each Ducks Kids Clinic session will be led by Baez and Ducks players and will last a total of THREE DAYS! The first session will take place from Monday, July 17 through Wednesday, July 19, while session two will run from Thursday, August 3 to Saturday, August 5. Each day of the clinic runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and children should arrive no later than 8:45 a.m. Kids who sign up for both clinic sessions will receive an exclusive bonus gift of a free Ducks Kids Club membership!

Clinic participants will receive three days of instruction, lunch each day, an official Kids Clinics t-shirt, and their very own Ducks hat. At the conclusion of each day during the session, children will get to play a game of baseball on the field at Bethpage Ballpark. Kids need only bring a glove, a bat and be ready to play, rain or shine!

Ducks Kids Clinics have been among the most popular events held at Bethpage Ballpark each season. Check out what a few parents from previous Ducks camps have said:

“Let me take this opportunity to thank the entire Ducks organization for a great camp and an awesome experience for my son, Angelo. He was able to take away some very good tips for pitching and infield defense. Angelo is already talking about coming up next year for camp. Thanks again for providing my son with a great experience!!”
– Angelo Cacopardo

“Thanks for the great weekend for my grandson, Joey. I had heard about the clinic from a friend at work and thought it would be the perfect birthday present. He just loved working with the players, who were so great with the kids, and just being on the field in such a beautiful ballpark impressed him. He couldn’t stop talking about all the training tips he learned. He wants the same gift next year.”
– Barbara Marchica
