Single admission doubleheader scheduled for Tuesday, August 10, at 6:00 p.m.
 

(Central Islip, N.Y., July 29, 2021) – Thursday’s (July 29) game between the Long Island Ducks and Southern Maryland Blue Crabs at Fairfield Properties Ballpark has been postponed due to forecast inclement weather.

Thursday’s (7/29) game will be made up as part of a single admission doubleheader on Tuesday, August 10. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., with the ballpark gates opening at 5:35 (5:20 for full season ticket holders). Game two will begin approximately 25-30 minutes after the completion of game one, and both games will be slated for seven innings.

Tickets for Thursday’s (7/29) game can be exchanged for any future 2021 Ducks home game, subject to availability. Tickets may be exchanged by visiting the box office at Fairfield Properties Ballpark or by calling (631) 940-TIXX.

The Ducks continue their homestand on Friday night when they open a three-game series against the Gastonia Honey Hunters. Game time is slated for 6:35 p.m., with the Fairfield Properties Ballpark gates opening at 5:35 (5:20 for full season ticket holders). It’s Bark in the Park, and all fans are invited to bring their well-behaved dogs to the game with them. The first 750 fans in attendance will also receive Ducks Thunderstix. It’s a Flash Sale Friday as well! From 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, fans will have the opportunity to receive a special ticket offer to a select home game later in the season. This exclusive deal is available by phone only at (631) 940-TIXX. Right-hander Anderson DeLeon (1-0, 4.43) gets the start for the Ducks against Honey Hunters righty Austin Glorius (2-2, 5.73).
