Single admission doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday at 11:05 a.m.

(Bridgewater, N.J., April 25, 2017) – Tuesday’s (April 25) game between the Long Island Ducks and Somerset Patriots at TD Bank Ballpark has been postponed due to inclement weather.

Tuesday’s (4/25) game will be made up as part of a single admission doubleheader on Wednesday, April 26. Game one is slated to begin at the originally scheduled time of 11:05 a.m., while game two will start approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the opener. Both games are scheduled for seven innings.

Fans can follow all the action for both games of the twinbill on the Long Island Ducks Broadcast Network. Live HD streaming video and audio will be available via BoxCast on the Ducks’ official Facebook page, YouTube channel and at LIDucks.com. Right-hander Matt Larkins gets the start for the Ducks in game one against Patriots righty Tyler Cloyd. Game two will see right-hander John Brownell take the mound for Long Island against Somerset righty David Kubiak.

Long Island will return home on Friday, April 28 for the 2017 home opener against the New Britain Bees. Game time is slated for 6:35 p.m., with the Bethpage Ballpark gates opening at 5:35 (5:20 for full season ticket holders). The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive Rich Hill Bobbleheads, courtesy of P.C. Richard and Son. Fans are also encouraged to arrive early for player introductions along with traditional Opening Night pomp and circumstance.
