Doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday, August 22nd
 

(Waldorf, Md., August 21, 2018) – Tuesday’s (August 21st) game between the Long Island Ducks and Southern Maryland Blue Crabs at Regency Furniture Stadium has been postponed due to inclement weather.

Tuesday’s (8/21) game will be made up as part of a single admission doubleheader on Wednesday, August 22nd, with both games slated for seven innings.

First pitch for game one will be at 6:00 p.m., with game two beginning approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the opener. Fans can follow all the action on the Long Island Ducks Broadcast Network. Live streaming HD video and audio will be available for both games via BoxCast on the Ducks official Facebook page, YouTube channel and at LIDucks.com. Right-hander John Brownell (8-10, 4.48) will start game one for the Ducks against Blue Crabs righty Casey Delgado (5-8, 4.50). Game two will feature the right-handed Chris Pike (0-0, 8.71) for the Ducks, with the Blue Crabs starting righty Craig Stem (6-6, 3.69).

The Ducks return home on Friday, August 24th to kick off a three-game series against the Road Warriors. Game time is slated for 6:35 p.m., with the Bethpage Ballpark gates opening at 5:35 (5:20 for full season ticket holders). The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive Ducks Quackers, courtesy of Newsday.
