Will be completed on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. prior to regularly scheduled game
(Central Islip, N.Y., Aug. 23, 2016) – Due to a technical issue with the third base light tower, Tuesday’s (August 23) game between the Long Island Ducks and Southern Maryland Blue Crabs at Bethpage Ballpark has been suspended with one out in the top of the seventh inning.
Tuesday’s (8/23) game will be continued from that point on Wednesday, August 24 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Immediately following the completion of the game, Wednesday’s originally scheduled game between the Ducks and Blue Crabs will be played and is slated for seven innings. The Bethpage Ballpark gates will open at their regular scheduled time of 5:35 p.m. (5:20 for full season ticket holders).
Tickets for Tuesday’s game can be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value at the Bethpage Ballpark box office for any remaining 2016 regular season or postseason game, subject to availability. For more information, please call the Ducks ticket office at (631) 940-TIXX.
Wednesday will be Suffolk County Boy Scouts Night at the ballpark, and the first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive Ducks T-Shirts, courtesy of Bridgehampton National Bank. It’s also a Winning Inning Wednesday! During the regularly scheduled game, the Ducks will designate a specific occurrence in each inning. If the event takes place, one lucky fan will win $10,000! Simply sign up at the Ducks Ticket Kiosk prior to first pitch of regularly scheduled game to be eligible to win.
