Single admission doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.

(Central Islip, N.Y., Aug. 29, 2017) – Tuesday’s (August 29) game between the Long Island Ducks and York Revolution at Bethpage Ballpark has been postponed due to inclement weather.

Tuesday’s (8/29) game will be made up on Wednesday, August 30 as part of a single admission doubleheader. First pitch for the game one is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., with the Bethpage Ballpark gates opening at 5:35 (5:20 for full season ticket holders). Game two will begin approximately 20-25 minutes after the completion of the opener, and both games are slated for seven innings.

Tickets for Tuesday’s game can be exchanged at the Bethpage Ballpark box office for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2017 home game, subject to availability. Tuesday’s notebook giveaway has been moved to a later date. More details on the new giveaway date will be announced in the near future.

The amazing Spider-Man will be making a special appearance at the ballpark during Wednesday’s twin bill, courtesy of Geico! The legendary superhero will be throwing out a ceremonial first pitch prior to game one, and fans can then meet and take pictures with Spider-Man on the main concourse behind home plate. It’s also a Waddle In Wednesday, and a special item in the Waddle In Shop will be available at a 20{fe96d6e17d87505a1465284f96a4c69c9ad7d7051973bed0757ffc13536530ff} discount throughout the doubleheader. The selected item will be announced on LIDucks.com Wednesday morning and inside the ballpark during both games.
