Will be made up as part of doubleheader on Wednesday, September 7

(Central Islip, N.Y., Sept. 6, 2016) – Tuesday’s (September 6) game between the Long Island Ducks and Bridgeport Bluefish at Bethpage Ballpark has been postponed due to inclement weather.

Tuesday’s (9/6) game will be made up on Wednesday, September 7 as part of single admission doubleheader beginning at 6:00 p.m. The Bethpage Ballpark gates will open at 5:35 (5:20 for full season ticket holders) for the Sept. 7 twinbill, and both games are slated for seven innings.

Tickets for Tuesday’s (9/6) game can be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2016 regular season or postseason Ducks home game, subject to availability. All of Tuesday’s Breast Cancer Awareness Night festivities, including the commemorative t-shirt giveaway, jersey auction and postgame Grucci Fireworks Extravaganza, will now be taking place during the game on Friday, September 9. That night, the Ducks will host the York Revolution at 6:35 p.m., with the ballpark gates scheduled to open at 5:35 (5:20 for full season ticket holders).

Wednesday’s (9/7) doubleheader will feature “Bark in the Park” Night at the Duck Pond! The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive Dog Bowls, courtesy of Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists. Fans wishing to bring their dogs to the game need only to purchase a Pooch Pass by visiting www.liducksgroups.com and typing in the password “pooch”.
