Opportunity for fans to exchange tickets from missed games

(Central Islip, N.Y., Aug. 6, 2013) – The Long Island Ducks today announced that August 26, 27 and 28 as well as September 10, 11 and 12 will be “Unused Ticket Days” at Bethpage Ballpark. If you could not make it out to a ballgame during the 2013 season and are still in possession of your unused tickets, the club is offering fans the chance to exchange them for ones of equal or lesser value at the Bethpage Ballpark Box Office, subject to availability.

“With pennant fever continuing to heat up in the second half, Ducks baseball is more exciting than ever this season,” says Ducks president and general manager Michael Pfaff. “This is a great opportunity to utilize unused tickets from earlier this season and enjoy a great summer night in August or an early September evening with friends and family.”

Ticket holders interested in trading in their unused tickets can do so by visiting the Bethpage Ballpark box office. Tickets can be exchanged for games on August 26, 27 and 28 against the Lancaster Barnstormers or September 10, 11 and 12 against Lancaster. The games from August 26-28 will begin at 7:05 p.m. while the games from September 10-12 are slated to start at 6:35. A one dollar fee per ticket will be applied to account for the Suffolk County surcharge on all tickets.

August 26 – First visit of the season for the Barnstormers since the Ducks defeated them in the winner-take-all Game Five of the 2012 Atlantic League Championship Series.
