Single admission doubleheader scheduled for Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
 

(Lexington, Ky., Sept. 22, 2021) – Wednesday’s (September 22) game between the Long Island Ducks and Lexington Legends at Lexington Legends Ballpark has been postponed due to inclement weather.

Wednesday’s (9/22) game will be made up on Thursday, September 23, as part of a single admission doubleheader. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 4:00 p.m., while game two will begin approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the opener. Both games are scheduled for seven innings.

Fans can follow all the action for both games of the twin bill on the Long Island Ducks Broadcast Network. Live streaming HD video and audio will be available via BoxCast on LIDucks.com as well as on the Ducks official Facebook page and YouTube channel. Left-hander Darin Downs (5-4, 4.07) takes the mound for the Ducks in game one against Legends righty Zac Wescott (1-0, 1.13). Right-hander Joe Iorio (11-2, 4.76) toes the rubber for Long Island in game two against Lexington southpaw Braulio Torres-Perez (1-1, 3.00).

Long Island returns home on Friday, October 1, to begin a three-game series against the Lancaster Barnstormers. Game time is slated for 6:35 p.m., with the Fairfield Properties Ballpark gates opening at 5:35 (5:20 for full season ticket holders). The first 750 fans in attendance will receive a Ducks Action Poster.
